The Manchester congregation had its humble beginning during April 2004. We organized Prayer Meetings with the able guidance and help of Fr.Happy Jacob in Manchester at various residences of Orthodox Malyalee families. We always looked forward for a Qurbana to be conducted in Manchester. With the grace of the Almighty we had our first Qurbana in November 2004 at the St.Elizabeth's R.C Church, Peel Hall.
Late H. G Dr. Thomas Mar Makarios Thirumeni accepted our invitation and joined in celebrating the Christmas Celebrations and declared our congregation as an OFFICIAL PARISH on the 25th December 2006. It was great day for every member at the Manchester congregation to remember, for our dreams came true. Fr.Happy Jacob was appointed as the Vicar of the church. The journey has just begun and there’s a long way for everyone to tread in building up the church.........
