We will be holding a Parish Prayer Meeting on Saturday, 10th January 2026, inviting all our members and families to come together in prayer and spiritual fellowship.

The evening will begin with Sandhya Namaskaram at 6:00 pm, followed by Devotional Songs and Holy Bible Reading at 6:45 pm. This will lead into a time of Meditation at 7:00 pm, concluding with Benediction at 7:15 pm.

This prayer meeting is a blessed opportunity for our parish family to pause from our busy schedules and unite before God, seeking His guidance, peace, and blessings for our lives, our families, and our parish.

All members are lovingly encouraged to attend and participate in this time of worship and reflection. Let us gather as one body in Christ and experience the strength and comfort that comes through shared prayer.

We are delighted to welcome H.G. Dr. Mathews Mar Thimothios Thirumeni on Sunday, 12th October 2025.

His Grace, the former Metropolitan of the Diocese of UK, Europe & Africa, and the current Metropolitan of the Chengannur Diocese, Kerala, will celebrate the Holy Qurbana and share words of spiritual wisdom with our parish family.

This blessed occasion offers a wonderful opportunity for all our members to come together in unity and thanksgiving, to worship and receive the blessings of Thirumeni’s presence and message.

Let us gather prayerfully as one family to take part in this special day of grace and fellowship.

St. George Indian Orthodox Church, Manchester, is delighted to welcome Rev. Fr. Binu Thomas as our new spiritual shepherd. Stepping into his new role on 1 July 2025, Fr. Binu Thomas brings with him a spirit of devotion, care, and prayerful leadership. We look forward to walking alongside him as our parish grows in faith and fellowship.

At the same time, we wish to extend our deepest gratitude to our beloved former vicar, Rev. Fr. Eldo P. Varghese. Under his attentive guidance, our congregation has flourished spiritually and communally. We're deeply grateful to Eldo Achan for his dedicated service, caring guidance, and the many blessings he shared with us.

St. George IOC Manchester had the honour of a visit by the Very Reverend Fr. M P George Cor Episcopa on August 9th and 10th. His expertise and interpretations of liturgical music during the special sessions were enlightening for all attendees. Notably, his rendition of a traditional liturgical hymn in classical Carnatic style was particularly striking. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Achen for sharing his presence and enriching the spiritual atmosphere of our church with his soulful music.
